Surgery can be either a video-assisted or an open technique. Pre-operative investigation such as computed tomography (CT) scan of the thorax has been an important tool of assessment in deciding the approach of surgery. Traditionally, a tumor of more than 6 cm would necessitate an open approach. Herein, we would like to report a patient with a large solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura which was thoracoscopically excised and evacuated in an unconventional approach.
<AbstractLanguage>English</AbstractLanguage> <Keywords>Solitary fibrous tumor,VATS,Pleura</Keywords> <URLs>
https://journal-jmsr.net/ubijournal-v1copy/journals/abstract.php?article_id=9657&title=Solitary Fibrous Tumor of the Pleura: A Simple Solution with a Simple Technique
</URLs> <References> <ReferencesarticleTitle>References</ReferencesarticleTitle> <ReferencesfirstPage>16</ReferencesfirstPage> <ReferenceslastPage>19</ReferenceslastPage> <References>Ichiki, Y., Kakizoe, K., Hamatsu, T. et al.
