The Scimitar Syndrome: About a Case Report

Abstract:

The Scimitar syndrome is rare congenital disorder, characterized by an abnormal rightsided pulmonary venous drainage in the inferior vena cava.We report the case of a 9-month-old female infant, in whom the diagnosis was suspected on a chest radiograph and the definitive diagnosis was confirmed by a CTscan study.
